This aerial photo of Whistler Village, circa mid-1980s, shows how much construction has taken place since the early days. Notice the benchlands (left) with barely a hint of the Chateau Whistler or Blackcomb's new base area. Village North had not even started yet. Compare this to today and you'll be amazed. There are many more photos in the book which give you a glimpse into the recent past of a much different Whistler.
