Fundraising Campaigns

Support

South Winnipeg Kinderschule operates as a not-for-profit organization with a volunteer board. Our fees are designed to cover the basic cost of running the school and paying the teacher's salaries. We make every effort to maintain affordable school fees by offsetting other costs with ongoing fundraising efforts and donations.

Donations

We solicit charitable donations from individuals, groups, organizations and grant-giving agencies. We provide tax-deductable charitable donation receipts to anyone making donations of money to South Winnipeg Kinderschule. We sincerely appreciate the ongoing support of the German-speaking community and others who believe in what we do at Kinderschule. Simply send us a cheque and we'll send you the receipt.

Some families with children who have been through Kinderschule continue to support us in one way or another. If you would like to make an annual contribution to Kinderschule, however modest, we are very appreciative of your support. You may want to tie your donation to educational materials we need at the school.

Fundraising

If it seems Kinderschule is always selling something to raise money for the pre-school, well, it's true! We do the following campaigns, more or less in this order:

• family calendars
• Mom's Pantry Products
• Kinderhaarschnitt (family hair cut day)
• Ritter Sport German chocolates
• German Christmas gift baskets
• Bothwell Cheese (13 varieties)
• Bloomers bedding plants for you and your community

If you have not already been contacted by a Kinderschule parent, please send an email or call us and we'll make sure your order is filled. You can also download a form for a few of the campaigns (see above).

We have new ideas each year and stick with the ones that work best. If you have suggestions, please let us know!
